The race for the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Golden Boot is wide open, with Hardrock FC striker Washington Navaya currently sitting on top of the charts after 25 matchdays.
According to the latest PSL stats released for 2026, Navaya leads with 12 goals for Hardrock FC. The forward has been key for the yellow and green side and will be looking to extend his lead as the season enters the final stretch.
Hot on his heels is a three-way tie for second. Frank Agyemang of Dynamos FC, Khama Billiat of Scottland FC, and Ralph Kawondera of Herentals College FC are all level on 11 goals each.
Billiat’s experience continues to show for Scottland, while Agyemang and Kawondera have been consistent threats for DeMbare and Herentals respectively.
The chasing pack also features serious firepower:
- Walter Musona – Scottland FC – 9 goals
- Knowledge Musona – Scottland FC – 8 goals
- Wilfred Madzungu – Hardrock FC – 7 goals
Scottland FC are the big winners in terms of firepower, with 3 players in the top 7. That trio of Billiat, Walter and Knowledge Musona has given them 28 goals combined so far.
Hardrock and Dynamos also have two representatives each. Navaya and Madzungu are carrying Hardrock, while Agyemang and Jairos Kasondo with 6 goals are doing the business for DeMbare. Moses Demera adds another 5 for Dynamos.
Other notable names on 6 goals include Benjamin Adeogun of Highlanders FC, Harison Masina of Simba Bhora FC, Ishmael Wadi of Caps United FC, and Wilson Mensah of MWOS FC.
A group of 6 players are tied on 5 goals: Aaron Zeka (Triangle United), Arthur Banda (MWOS), Chawanangwa Kaonga (Caps United), Farai Edwin Madhanaga (Ngezi Platinum Stars), Godswill Jim Gwara (Bulawayo Chiefs), and Melikhaya Ncube (Bulawayo Chiefs).
With plenty of games still to go, the Golden Boot battle is far from over. Navaya has the advantage, but with Billiat, Agyemang and Kawondera just 1 goal behind, expect the lead to change hands in the coming weeks.
