A 22-year-old man from Kazangarare, Hurungwe was convicted by Karoi Magistrates’ Court and sentenced to 12 months in prison for sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old. The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe reminded the public that anyone under 18 cannot legally consent to sex and that children must be protected.
