Harare – Herentals College FC winger Ralph Makanyara Kawondera has made it back-to-back awards after scooping the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Player of the Month for May 2026.

This is the second month in a row that Kawondera has claimed the individual honor, underlining his excellent form for The Students this season. The award, sponsored by Castle Lager, recognizes the most outstanding player each month in Zimbabwe’s top flight.

Kawondera’s pace, creativity, and end product have been key to Herentals’ unbeaten run through May. His performances helped Coach Celestino Paul Benza’s side pick up crucial points against FC Platinum, Dynamos, Bulawayo Chiefs and Highlanders.

With Herentals sitting 6th on the PSL log after 12 games, the 2026 season is shaping up to be Kawondera’s best yet. The winger has quickly become one of the most feared wide players in the league.
