HARARE – The Passengers Association of Zimbabwe (PAZ) has expressed grief and called for heightened road safety following a fatal Trip Trans bus crash along the Gokwe-Kwekwe Road on 27 May 2026 that killed 10 people.
In a statement, PAZ extended “deepest condolences to the entire nation, and to the families and friends affected” by the accident. The association also wished “a speedy and full recovery to everyone injured” and said it prays the bereaved find “comfort and strength in God during this time of sorrow”.
“May this tragedy remind all bus drivers and motorists to exercise the utmost caution on our roads, so that such heartbreaking losses can be prevented in the future,” the PAZ Info Desk said.
