LONDON – Arsenal have confirmed a public parade through Islington on Sunday 31 May to celebrate winning the Premier League title, with the club also set to mark a potential Champions League triumph the day before.
The club announced on 20 May that supporters and the local community will gather from 2pm for a parade around the home borough. The event follows Arsenal’s final league match of the season at Selhurst Park, where they plan to lift the trophy in front of travelling fans after the final whistle this weekend.
Arsenal clinched the title after a season-long campaign, with the club thanking supporters for “being with us every step of the way on this incredible journey – showing up and turning out for each other and taking us back to where we belong.”
The celebrations could expand further depending on the outcome of the UEFA Champions League Final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest on Saturday 30 May at 5pm UK time. If Arsenal win, the parade will also celebrate that historic triumph.
“This will be a major public event, and we anticipate large numbers of supporters will turn out in the local area,” the club said.
Arsenal warned that the parade will cause significant disruption across Islington, including road closures and parking suspensions. Local residents and businesses were advised that movement around the borough and along the route may be difficult on the day.
Further details on the parade route and logistics will be published closer to the time on Arsenal’s official website and channels only.
The club urged fans planning to attend to follow updates via official sources and to prepare for congestion in the area.
