Harare — More than 100 gospel artistes will take to the stage at ZAOGA Braeside Church on Saturday, 2 May 2026, for the Ezekiel H. Guti Legacy Musical Show and EGLA Awards in what organizers have described as the largest tribute concert to date honoring the late Archbishop Ezekiel H. Guti.

The free-admission event, running from 12:00 hrs till late, forms the centerpiece of Ezekiel H. Guti Day 2026 commemorations, marking 66 years of “advancing the Kingdom of God” and 75 years of the ZAOGA Forward in Faith International movement.

Organizers said the concert will feature “over 100 anointed artists” performing on a single stage, alongside “extra-special surprise guest artists” whose identities remain undisclosed pending final confirmation.

The confirmed lineup for artists includes Mellisa Makwasha, Sir Benjamin, Pastor D Magvuramiti, Faith Makoni, Sebastian Magacha, Loveness Mukutirwa, Fifi Sibanda [UK], Dr Magama, Pastor Haisa, and Probity, with dozens more gospel ministers from across Zimbabwe and the diaspora set to perform.

Archbishop Guti, who died in July 2023 aged 100, founded ZAOGA FIF in 1960. The church has since established a presence in over 100 nations and territories.

“This is a greater celebration, a louder praise, a legacy amplified,” organizers said in a statement released this week. “Over 100 voices. One stage. One unstoppable sound.”

The Legacy Musical Show doubles as the EGLA Awards and is supported by a consortium of corporate sponsors including Econet Wireless, Ecobank, CABS, Liquid, First Mutual Health, Omari, MedOrange Pharmacies, and ZB Financial Holdings.

The event will be held at ZAOGA Braeside Church, corner Joshua Nkomo and Learoyd Road, Braeside, Harare. Gates open at 12:00 hrs. Admission is free and open to the public.

Church officials said the concert seeks to “honor the life, ministry, and enduring legacy” of Archbishop Guti while creating a platform for gospel ministers from across Zimbabwe and the diaspora.

The event will be held under the theme “The Legacy Continues” with the hashtag #ForwardInFaith.
