Veteran all-rounder Sikandar Raza has been honoured with a framed souvenir in recognition of becoming Zimbabwe’s most-capped player across all formats of international cricket.
The milestone acknowledges Raza’s longevity and consistency for the Chevrons across Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, making him the player with the most international appearances in Zimbabwe cricket history.
Raza, 40, made his international debut for Zimbabwe in 2013 and has since become one of the country’s most influential players of the last decade.

Known for his aggressive batting, handy off-spin, and electric fielding, the Lahore-born all-rounder has been central to Zimbabwe’s resurgence on the world stage.
He was named ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year in 2022 and has captained Zimbabwe in T20Is. Raza has also been a key performer in ICC World Cup qualifiers and T20 World Cups, often carrying the batting and bowling load for the team.
The framed souvenir was presented to Raza in recognition of surpassing all previous Zimbabwe players in total international caps — a record that cements his status as one of the most durable servants of Zimbabwe cricket.
The honour drew praise from fans and teammates, with many describing Raza as the “heartbeat” of the current Zimbabwe side.
