Dr Joe Guti,Presiding Bishop and President of ZAOGA Forward ln Faith Ministries lnternational recently revealed that his church is constructing a centre for the rehabilitation of ex-prisoners and for children who are weaning from drug addiction.
Dr Guti made the remarks at the church’s Archbishop Ezekiel H.Guti day walkathon and half day marathon event held on Saturday, 2 May, 2026 at the Grange School in Harare.
Dr Eunor Guti, wife of the late Archbishop Ezekiel Guti and Patron of the Ministry called all Zimbabweans to engage in the fight against drugs and substance abuse to protect children. She also discouraged the peddling of drugs in society.
Dr Joe Guti said the church has a very effective ministry which they call a Child Evangelism Ministry. He added that they have very good sessions to help people on how to overcome the issue of drugs.
According to him,a lot of young people are being helped and they have testimonies all over the country and even from outside. “Then we give them training, because once it’s a habit, you still need some level of training and guidance so that the addictions do not continue,” Dr Guti said.
