
10 families in the Highfield’s Western Triangle high-density suburbs had a shot in the arm during the Africa Day celebrations as they received food hampers from a local businessman.

Businessman Francis Kaowa together with his sister Thandi Moyo who lives in United Kingdom donated to the less privileged families 10 food hampers.
Earlier on Kaowa had donated a bucket of maize to almost 70 families each.”I just raised funds through my savings and with the help of my friends Elli Timm from Germany and Franklin Orlando from America I managed to give maize for mealie meal to the less privileged families”, said Kaowa.
He said he had realised that they were less privileged families in his community he does business with who needed help.
The Africa Day presents brought cheer to the less privileged families among them the people living with disability in the community.
Africa and Kennedy, Moyo’s siblings were also present during the donations on Africa Day.
Through togetherness, Kaowa hopes that the community will be better.
