Reflecting on her journey from humble beginnings to representing her nation, Makanyiso shared a powerful message regarding her mission: “We didn’t want to donate people out of poverty; we wanted to give them something to rise above poverty.”

With the preliminary stages wrapped up, all eyes now turn to the grand finale this Saturday, September 5, 2026. The nation is rallying behind Makanyiso as she prepares for the final stage, carrying the hopes of Zimbabweans at home and abroad to bring the coveted crown to Harare.
