Unity  Over  Greed:  DR Tungwarara Draws the  Line In Manicaland

From Chipinge to Chimanimani, from Mutasa to Makoni, Presidential Advisor Dr Paul ‘Nhumeyamambo’ Tungwarara has emerged as a firm and consistent voice of unity, discipline, and accountability, carrying a clear political message that empowerment must unite the people, not divide them.

Addressing in Chipinge District, Chimanimani District, Mutasa District and Makoni District, Dr Tungwarara has repeatedly emphasized that the Second Republic under President Emmerson Mnangagwa marked a historic turning point where empowerment stopped being a Slogan and began reaching Constituencies, wards, villages, and households.

He reminded the people that “every normal person can now see the development taking place everywhere in the country” a direct result of President Mnangagwa’s*inclusive leadership and vision.

Dr Tungwarara’s message has been consistent and uncompromising: Empowerment funds are not personal handouts, but national tools for development, unity and political strength.

He strongly condemned affiliates leaders who received empowerment funds but failed to distribute them to the people, warning that such individuals are betraying the President and creating unnecessary divisions. He made it clear that any funds misused or withheld must be returned, stressing that empowerment money belongs to the people, not individuals

In highlighting good leadership, Dr Tungwarara applauded Crossborders 4ED and it’s National Chairman DJ Masomere citing the affiliate as a shining national example of fair, transparent and equal distribution of empowerment funds to members across the country. According to Dr Tungwarara such discipline and fairness are exactly what protects the President’s image and strengthens grassroots support.

He warned that using empowerment funds for personal issues leads directly to voter resentment, reduced confidence and eventual electoral loss. “If you don’t empower the people,”* he cautioned, “the people will vote against you.”Unequal distribution, he added, breeds enmity, jealousy and division in villages, districts and provinces, poisoning the very structures that are meant to mobilize votes.

Dr Tungwarara did not mince words when addressing selfishness and greed. He condemned leaders who ignored the elderly, war veterans, saying that it is shameful for leaders to enrich themselves while liberation heroes and senior citizens are  left behind.

In a firm accountability stance, he declared that he will personally follow up empowerment funds down to village level, working with the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) where necessary. His instruction was simple and direct:
If  the money is no longer there, show us the project. If there is no project, then show us the money. If there is no money and project then munhu kujeri.

Dr Tungwarara made it clear that respect for him is optional, but respect for President Mnangagwa is mandatory. Respect, he said, is shown not through slogans but through delivering the President’s resources to the people.

He concluded by stressing that all MPs must be empowered, not for comfort, but for performance so that the party reclaims all seats lost to CCC in the last election. Empowerment, he reminded leaders, is a political responsibility, it strengthens leadership, solidifies loyalty and ensures victory.

His message across Manicaland was unmistakable:
UNITY OVER GREED. SERVICE OVER SELFISHNESS. PEOPLE BEFORE PERSONAL GAIN.
