Sir Wicknel’s generous gift has put a big smile on Aaron Chiundura Moyo’s face!

The literary icon received a brand new car and $50,000 USD from the philanthropist, a testament to his outstanding contributions to Zimbabwean literature. This incredible gesture is a huge recognition of Moyo’s hard work and dedication to the arts.

The Zimbabwean literary community is celebrating this well-deserved honor!

Aaron Chiundura Moyo, affectionately known as Mwana Wamai, has made significant contributions to Zimbabwean literature. His notable works include novels like “Nguwo Dzouswa” and “Makunun’unu Maodzamoyo”, as well as radio plays and television dramas and series which include Studio 263, Tiriparwendo to name but a few.

The recent honor bestowed upon him by Sir Wicknel is seen by many as a long overdue recognition of his dedication to the arts. Fellow artists have expressed that such icons should be honored while they are still alive, with some even suggesting an honorary degree would be a fitting tribute.

Veteran writer Mr. Memory Chirere has expressed his gratitude to Sir Wicknel for the generous gift to Aaron Chiundura Moyo. “It’s a good thing. Had he been in a good economy, this is a man who could be a millionaire by now. Any honour from any person towards Chiundura is long overdue,” Mr. Chirere said.

Having worked with Mwana Wamai for a long time, Mr. Chirere echoed the same sentiments that the responsible authorities should honor people of Moyo’s calibre while they still shine. “Icons like Aaron Chiundura Moyo should be recognized and celebrated while they’re still with us,” he added.

In a video shared on Sir Wicknel’s Facebook page literally Icon Mr Aaron Chiundura thanked Sir Wicknel for the kind gesture.
He was accompanied by his brother veteran musician Jonah Moyo and Son Tatenda Moyo
Mr Aaron Chiundura -Moyo expressed his gratitude to Sir wicknel for the recognition, The kind gesture and acknowledgement mean a lot to him , And it’s wonderful to see the literally community come together to celebrate his work.
He thanked his brother Musician Jonah Moyo for accompanying him when he collected the gift.

In his partying words he he encouraged philanthropist Sir Wicknel to continue blessings and honoring people as per his wish.
