Robert Mugabe Jnr has been found guilty of illegal possession of drugs.
Mugabe pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared before Harare magistrate, Ms Lisa Mutendereki this morning.
During mitigation, Mugabe asked for leniency, telling the court that he is a single father of two children.
He said: “I am a farmer, single father of two, earning US$7,0007 a month, a first-time offender and pleaded on my own accord.”
He was found in possession of 2 grams of dagga and initially appeared in court last month. Today, he was back in court for trial commencement.
Mugabe, represented by lawyer Ashiel Mugiya, is scheduled to be sentenced this afternoon.
