The Passengers Association of Zimbabwe (PAZ) is working tirelessly to improve public transport by promoting order and safety, protecting passengers from harassment and trauma caused by touts.
In a press statement, PAZ president Tafadzwa Goliath said “Passengers have the right to choose their bus without being forced or coerced. We urge all travelers to report any form of harassment or abuse to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) or PAZ.”
“The situation is further complicated by some touts who consume alcohol and drugs, readily available at bus ranks, making them aggressive and unpredictable. This poses a significant threat to passenger safety,” he added.
If you’re experiencing issues at bus terminals or stops, please don’t hesitate to reach out. For assistance or more information, contact PAZ at +263 712 334 330.
