Mankind Clinic Glen-Norah Brings Hope and Quality Healthcare to the Community

In a bid to ease the healthcare burden on residents of Glen-Norah and surrounding areas, Mankind Family Clinic has officially opened its doors in the high-density suburb.

The clinic, which offers free blood pressure and blood sugar checks, is a brainchild of Dr. Christian Marova, a devoted Christian and General Practitioner with Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM).

Dr. Marova’s vision for the clinic is rooted in his desire to provide top-notch healthcare to the community, particularly for those who have had to travel to town for medical care. “We came to Glen-Norah not because we’re looking for money, but because we realized that our patients from this area were having a tough time getting to town for medical care,” he explained. “We want to make healthcare accessible and affordable for everyone, regardless of their financial situation.”

The clinic, which started its journey in 2022 with its first branch in the Avenues, Harare, is strategically located in Glen-Norah to cater to the healthcare needs of the community. Dr. Marova emphasized that the clinic’s location is accessible, with good parking space and proximity to public transport.

“We’re not here because we’re looking for money,” Dr. Marova stressed. “We want to provide quality healthcare to our community, and we’re committed to making sure that everyone who comes here feels welcome and comfortable.”

Dr. Peter Chikumba, a university lecturer and Pastor at Celebration Church  praised Dr. Marova’s vision and dedication to providing high-quality healthcare. “Mankind Family Clinic is more than just a healthcare facility – it’s a beacon of hope and support in this community,” he said.

The clinic’s opening has been welcomed by the community, with residents like Mrs. Beatrice Tobet and Ms. Emilia Rice expressing gratitude for the convenient and affordable healthcare services. “God has done a good deed as we have a son who remembers us,” Mrs. Tobet said. “We now have a clinic that is near us, and we’ll be able to get checked for BP and sugar without any hassles.”

Pastor Phillip Mangwiro with AFM Eagles Assembly officially commissioned the health facility, praising Dr. Marova’s impact on the community. “Dr. Christian Marova is a blessing to everyone here,” he said. “He’s coming into this community to lessen the burden upon our shoulders in terms of healing.”

The clinic operates from 8am to 8pm, with prospects for 24-hour operations in the future. With its commitment to providing quality healthcare and its welcoming atmosphere, Mankind Clinic Glen-Norah is set to make a significant difference in the lives of residents in the community.
