Nhaka Gallery is proud to present ” Music Meets Fine Art”, a groundbreaking one month exhibition that fuses the worlds of music and visual arts.
The exciting show opens on the 11th of October and will run until 11th of November, offering a rare opportunity for art lovers and music enthusiasts to experience the rich interplay of two vibrant creative mediums.
” The exhibition is showcasing how art can illustrates music, celebrating music through Visual Art”, said Exhibiton coordinator Evelyn Gwasira in an interview.

” As for muscians, we have Germma Griffiths, Victor Kunonga, Hope Masike, Dudu Manhenga, The Travellers Band, Mwenje Matole, Amara Brown and Alexio Kawara”, she said. She said at the moment local muscians have confirmed will attend.
” The visuals who are involved are George Chibwanya, Stephen Garan’anga, Tafadzwa Tom and Richard Mutemahuku”, Gwasira added.
The exhibition explores the powerful relationship between music and visual expression featuring works from leading Zimbabwe and international artists who draw inspiration from musical rhythms, instruments and broader soundscapes of life. Through a diverse array of paintings, sculptures, and mixed media ” Music Meets Fine Art delves into how sound can translate into color, form, and texture, creating a unique sensory experience.

Highlight of the exhibition include interactive installations whereby visitors can engage multi-sensory works where sound and art meet in real-time and music-inspired artworks from jazz to traditional African rhythms, each piece reflects the deep connection between musical forms and artistic expression.
Nhaka Gallery is situated in the heart of Harare and is renowned for showcasing Zimbabwean cultural heritage through contemporary art.
With ”Music Meets Fine Art”, the gallery aims to expand its reach by exploring innovative intersections between artistic forms providing an inclusive platform for both established and emerging artists.
