Far from the madding crowd is what many best describe the atmosphere in the countryside as one would have escaped the city’s hustle and bustle and spending time immersedin the beauty, rich culture and traditional life of the countryside.
Kwedu Village Tiurism is offering countryside lovers a day and evening at picturesque setting, nestled besides the serene Chombira Rock which offers the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enriching experience on Saturday 5 October .
The inaugural Kwedu Village Tourism event will take countryside lovers from the capital city to Nzvimbo Village, Chiweshe in Mashonaland Central. The place is 100kms from Harare and the road is tarred all the way.
” We are excited to introduce Kwedu African Village Experience, where we celebrate the rich tapestry of village tourism. This unique aspect of the tourism industry remains largely undiscovered, and we aim to shine a light on it”, said Joyline Chibanda Kwedu African Village experience manager in an interview.
” Join us for our inaugural village tourism event, an enchanting evening in Chiweshe, nestled in the stunning Nzvimbo area, known for its rocky mountains and breathtaking landscapes. Our focus is on promoting cultural awareness, offering visitors a glimpse into our vibrant traditions”, she urged.
” Guests will enjoy traditional meals that reflect our culinary heritage and be entertained by captivating traditional dances, showcasing the rhythm and spirit of our community as well as a tour around the village”, she added.
” We look forward to welcoming many to this unforgettable experience and hope to host many more in the future, allowing everyone to connect with and appreciate the beauty of our village traditions”, Chibanda said
