Durban Wolves won by seven wickets
A powerful innings of 58 not out by Colin Munro brought Durban Wolves victory over Harare Bolts by seven wickets in Sunday’s first match of the ongoing Zim Afro T10 league at Harare Sports Club.
Bolts, batting first, never quite got over the loss of their opening pair for 12 runs, although Sean Williams with 35 from 25 balls and George Munsey, 36 off 18 balls, brought a recovery.
They put on 72 for the third wicket in 6.2 overs, but Bolts could manage only 99 runs off their 10 overs.
The bowling of Dawlat Zadran had much to do with this, as he took two wickets for 12 runs off his two overs.
Wolves lost Sharjeel Khan to the first ball of the innings, but that only brought in Munro, who quite dominated the bowling, scoring his 58 off 29 balls with four sixes and five fours.
None of his team-mates scored more than 13, but Munro took them to victory with four balls in hand.

Karim Janat was the only bowler with anything to be pleased about, as in his two overs he took both the wickets that fell for 14 runs.
Tigers when they batted had no option but to fling the bat at everything, and they did well enough to reach 117 for seven wickets, going down gallantly but inevitably.

Akhilesh Bogudum was the most successful bowler with three wickets for 19 runs.

Cape Town Samp Army won by three wickets
Despite a gallant rescue partnership between Kobey Herft with 38 and Nick Hobson, 21 not out, and fine bowling from Wessly Madhevere, Bulawayo Brave Jaguars went down to Cape Town Samp Army by three wickets in Sunday’s final match.
Jaguars made a disastrous start, losing four wickets for 18 runs before this pair came together and added 47 for the fifth wicket, but the team could manage only an inadequate score of 83 for six wickets.
David Willey was the most successful bowler with three wickets for 13 runs.
A quick 20 off 12 balls from Brian Bennett, helped by Rohan Mustafa (19), took Samp Army to 56 before their third wicket fell, but then Madhevere took three wickets in two overs for 17 runs to retard their progress.
However, they managed to creep over the line with seven wickets down for 87 to win the match with eight deliveries in hand.
