In what seems a thanksgivings note to the second republic a primary school, Little Angels Junior School has heaped praises to its achievement in their released song proud of our nation .
Oben Matsika also known as Oblashie took his time to compose the song for the primary school located in Chivhu where he wor. .the second republic achievements.
” We are just appreciating our nation”, he said. In the song there is appreciation of the work of His Excellency President Mnangagwa, innovation and industrialisation, education 5.0 and also teachers.
The song highlights that people can be happy if they achieve something.
“Kana takunda topemberera”.
” Kana takunda toropafadzwa”, are some of the lyrics on the song. Some of the lyrics are both in Shona and Ndebele and there is a mixture English language.
The ryhme in the song is so good for example when they sing,
“Tiri vana vemuchivhu
Tinoguta neredu ivhu
Zvinofadza vari muvhu”.
The song urges people to thank teachers who mould different professionals like doctors, nurses and lawyers.
The 29-years-old music teacher from Mutate composed the song and Grade 4,5 and 6 at Little Angels Junior School took part.
