Palestine Condemns Illegal Sanctions to Zimbabwe by the West

Palestine Ambassador to Zimbabwe His Excellency Tamer Almassri attended the SADC Anti-Sanctions Day commemorations in Zimbabwe on 25th of October and reiterated the need for the sanctions to be removed as they tantamount to collective punishment.

Ambassador of the state of Palestine spoke at the SADC anti sanctions commemorations held in Mutoko and Harare in solidarity with Zimbabwe against illegal sactions.

Dr Almassri reiterated that the state of Palestine condemn the illegal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe by western colonial governments which amounts to collective punishment.

“I welcome the support and solidarity messages from all Zimbabwe’s provinces displayed by the government and people of Zimbabwe towards the Palestinian people who are currently subjected to the Israeli genocide”, he said.

He implored the world to stand with Palestine and condemn the hypocrisy and double standards of the some big states which blinds it’s eyes on war crimes committed apartheid Israel.

” I call upon the international community to be bold and courageous and assume its responsibilities in stopping Israel’s devastating war on the Gaza Strip, restraining the hand of occupation from the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and exerting the necessary pressure to ensure that all basic humanitarian needs reach our people in the Gaza Strip”, he concluded.
