Pan African Parliament (PAP) has advised United Kingdom-based Zimbabwean Prophet Hubert Angel of Spirit Embassy Church that the purported ambassadorial post with their organisation is null and void.
In a letter addressed to Prophet Hubert Angel seen by this publication, PAP distances itself from the appointment of Prophet Hubert Angel as an ambassador of their organisation.
“We noted that your name was announced recently as having been appointed as an ambassador for the pan African Parliament. Nearly all current members of PAP wondered how the appointment was done as soon it was not tabled in any bureau of plenary meeting stating reasons of the appointment and likely benefit of PAP or Africa in general”, read the letter.
“The minutes of said meetings would have also have indicated a proposer and seconder from amongst bureau members or honorable PAP members as standard AU approval process of such appointments that leads the diplomatic status”, PAP stated.
“Consequently; I am mandated by the current members of PAP to advise the Prophet that the said appointment is hereby revoked . The purported ambassadorial PAP has been has been declared null and void with immediate”, PAP 2nd president and acting president Dr. Gato Asherbiri said.
