A random pick was conducted after customers had submitted their pieces of writing. Six winners were picked from Facebook whilst Twitter had 3 Winners. More than 100 people entered the campaign on Facebook.

“As we celebrate Father’s Day, I would like to express my gratitude to all the fathers who endeavour to provide for their families and create a better future for their children”.
” Your love, guidance, and unwavering support are truly invaluable. As you transform the lives of your families, you transform communities too!,” Mushanawani added.
At NetOne, they are committed to supporting their employees by providing flexible and family-friendly conditions of service.
They understand that work demands sometimes make it challenging to balance family commitments, and they seek to ensure that their employees have the support they need to succeed both at work and at home.

She said fathers play an paramount role in the upbringing of children.
“You are Professor, you excel them all, these are words that my father prophesied over my life. Fathers are special, I love my father, he is a loving man. I, however, would like to acknowledge that there are children who do not have the presence of their biological fathers in their lives due to death or divorce”.
“These children can find Godly father figures such as uncles, grandparents and church pastors to play the fatherly role”, she said giving a testimony about her father.
Peter Nyazema who accompanied his sister who was among the lucky winners gave a statement acknowledging that the disciplinarian role fathers play is so pivotal.
” When my grades were low at school, my father sent me to learn in the rural areas. Walking 8 kilometres going to school made me pull up my socks. I later returns to the capital city after having achieved good grades. I later enrolled at a private school before going to the university “, he revealed.
Winners were so ecstatic about the hampers prizes and some said it was the best present they were going to give to their fathers.
” I am so excited and have something to give to my Father as a present. My father is a man of few words, gentle and kind”, Blessing Nyazema said.
Shepherd Gato and Mavis Nyamushuma who are parents of the winner Alderman Gato were left elated after receiving their hampers.
“Alderman is at Ezekiel Guti University writing his exams”, said the mother Mavis Nyamushuma.
” To be honest, this is a good opportunity. NetOne is saying a crucial role by recognising the head of the family. They should do this every year. Overall, the event was good,” said Shepherd Gato the father.
Fathers are known to play three roles in the lives of their children. They are the protector, provider and disciplinarian.
