Zimbabwe College of Music in Harare is the place to be for bodybuilding and fitness fans on Saturday as Fitness Physiques Africa (FPA) hosts Classic Qualifier.
All is set for the show which serves as a qualifier for the FPA Southern Region Championships to be held this year in Zimbabwe.
Posting on their Facebook page Body by Cathy Zimbabwe, Den marketing manager invited all to come in numbers and witness the show. “I hope to see you all”, wrote Dennis on their Facebook page.
There will be prizes galore for the bodybuilding and fitness athletes competing at the show. 1st & 2nd place in all categories will walk away with cash, trophies, medals, certificates, FPA t shirts and 3rd place will pocket cash, medals, certificates, FPA t shirt.
Female overall winner will receive Gold trophy, 1 tub each Transform-Nutrition supplement, Fitwearbycathy set whilst Male overall winner will take home Gold trophy,1 tub each Transform-Nutrition supplement, Fitwearbycathy gym wear and all athletes competing in FPA will receive certificates.
Registration fee for the athletes is $US 10 and the spectators will fork out $US 5 for the tickets.
Dennis is expecting a huge turnout as FPA will be hosting their first show of the year which is their second show in Zimbabwe after first FPA contest in December last year.
“We are expecting a huge turnout of athletes as many bodybuilding and fitness athletes are showing great interest of our federation”, Dennis said.
He called upon federations in bodybuilding and fitness to work together for the betterment of the sport in Zimbabwe. “Although we may be in different federations, bodybuilding and fitness sport should be the winner by the end of the day. He revealed that they are also sponsoring in the Midlands Fitness Championship in Kwekwe to be hosted by World Fitness Federation Zimbabwe May.
FPA chief executive officer based in United Kingdom, Cathy Martin aka Boss Lady will sponsor the show through her brands BodybyCathy, FitwearbyCathy and Transform Nutrition.
The show runs under the theme, “#Say No to Drugs #Yes to Fitness”.
