NAMA Golf Day 3rd Edition bigger and better

Andile Musambasi 2nd Edition winner will take part in this year’s edition

The 3rd Edition of NAMA Golf Day roars into life on Friday at Royal Harare Golf Club and it seems to be tremendous as more people from the arts industry and more corporates are available compared to previous editions according to the organisers.

In an interview NAMA said, “This year’s event is unique in that all practicing artists are invited to come and play for free as NAMA will cover their green fees.
We also have a guest performance that will take place during the prize giving ceremony that we are sure will leave onlookers in awe”.

The NAMA Golf Day, hosted by the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe and Jacaranda Culture and Media Corporation is an annual golf day created with the intention to create a platform for Artists to meet, interact and network with the business/corporate people in a relaxed environment.

The tournament which is open to all golfers also serves as a precursor to the 21st Edition of the NAMA to be held in February 2023. This theme of the event is , ” Where arts meets sports and business”.

“We are grateful to the support of our partners Old Mutual, SeedCo, AirZimbabwe, Cabs, M&G Stationery, Techno, Itel, and Infinix, all of whom have provided a wide range of exciting prizes for our winners of the 3rd Edition of the NAMA Golf Day”, the organisers.

“Some of the artists participating are Samantha Musa (MisRed), Andile Musambasi (2nd edition NAMA Golf Day winner), Russel Chiradza, Larry Kwirirayi, Chenesai Mangoma, Isaac Wiscot, Chiedza Kurwakumire, Shamiso Quang, Barry Manandi, Mike Madoda to mention a few”, said the organisers.

“Some of the professional golfers participating are Sam Taylor, Nevy Milazi, Yolanda Mubaiwa, Lazarus Clever, Albert Chinamano and Blessed Chimgha “, they added.

As this is the 3rd Edition of NAMA Golf Day, the first edition was held in 2020 and all the editions of NAMA Golf Day have been held at Royal Harare Golf Club, to date.

They have been not disturbed by Covid-19 this year as all Covid-19 regulations have been followed in line with WHO and government guidelines.
