Manica Diamonds have sacked their coach Johanisi Nhumwa and have appointed Jairos Tapera as the new substantive coach, a press release revealed on Monday.
Manica Diamonds in a press release through their communications department informed their stakeholders that the club has parted ways with head coach Johanisi Nhumwa and his technical team by mutual agreement.
Nhumwa was appointed substantive coach in January 2020 after he had been the acting head coach for some time.
“We sincerely appreciate the services rendered by the technical team to the club and we wish them well in their future endeavours”, said the communications department.
“Meanwhile the club has appointed Jairos Tapera as the new substantive head coach and he will be assisted by Tafadzwa Mashiri, Patrick Mandizha, and Thembinkosi Sibanda. Ticharambana Ziki remains the team manger”, communications department added.
Jairos Tapera who was at Triangle United with Patrick Mandizha as his assistant joined his former paymasters in January 202 coming from Black Rhinos were he was the technical adviser.
