Real Mallorca, Tinotenda Kadewere’s new base asked it’s fans on Tuesday in a tweet which name in short should be used for their new signing as the Zimbabwean international is welcomed at the football club.
In a tweet, Real Mallorca said Nos gusta acortar. Le llamanos in Spanish meaning We like short. We call him. The La Liga outfit asked fans to vote for the name of Tinotenda Kadewere in short with Tino and Kade being the names to vote for.
The vote on Real Mallorca’s Twitter had 62,9% voting for the name Tino whilst 37,1% voted for the name Kade . In the afternoon voting was left with less than ten hours with the name Tino leading
Tinotenda Kadewere whose brand #Famba Tino is much known in Zimbabwe and France. Real Mallorca settling for Tino as a name for the player in short will not bring confusion to his fans worldwide.
Tinotenda Kadewere joined the La Liga side from Lyon on a loan transfer for the entire 2022)23 season.
