Business enterprise skills in line with vision 2030

Gramsol Publishing Company launched its 4 textbooks in Harare on Wednesday which are a series of Business Enterprise Skills textbooks not Business Studies textbooks as the new curriculum endeavors for entrepreneurship towards the attainment of Vision 2030 goals.

 At the launch, Managing Director Tafadzwa Sandura said Gramsol Publishing Company started in 2010 as a book seller before venturing into a publishing industry in 2017.” We make sure we have products that are engaging”, he said.

Managing Editor Njabulo Mbono speaking at the event said it took the publishers 3 years to launch of the publishing process which takes lot of time before a book comes out. “We have 42 primary school textbooks and 52 books for secondary”, he said.

Dr Langton Chikukwa with other 3 titles, Honorable, Senator and Chief Executive Officer of First Pack said his role as an author is to provoke the mindset. He said business enterprise skills are in line with the Vision 2030.‘ We are doing Business Enterprise Skills textbooks  nor Business Studies  for the latter enables one to an employee whereas the former enables one to be a employer”, he said. The four textbooks launched are text books for Form 1-4 in Business Enterprise Skills.

With other authors, Mr Charles Mavhunga, Mrs Ivy Dombo and Mr Augustine Mataba authored a series of Business Enterprise Skills textbooks.

Chief Director in Curriculum Development and Technical Services also attended the event.

Gramsol Publishers presented to more than 6 authors certificates of appreciation. The certificates were hand over by Mr Arthur Maposa National Secondary Heads president and Mrs Cynthia Khumalo National Primary Heads President.
