MDC Alliance spokesperson Fadzai Ma here has tested positive for Covid-19 after her incarceration before trail for circulating false news on twitter.
Fadzai Mahere had been arrested following a tweet that alleged police had beaten an infant to death while enforcing Covid-19 lockdown rules in Harare.
She was later granted bail after spending the entire week behind bars. According to Mahere’s facebook post,she blames the Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison environment for her medical conditions.
