Zim female journo a APO Group Africa Media Awards 2020 finalist.

Debra Musanyare Matabvu, a Sunday Mail scribe is among the 5 finalists of APO Group Africa Women Media Awards 2020.
The award recognises, celebrates and empowers African women in media who support female entreprenuership through out the continent.
The winner will be bestowed with a USD2, 5000 cash prize and online courses from one of the most respected international universities.
The judging panel for the APO Group Africa Women in Media Awards 2020 consists of 100 luminaries,with global icons such as Naomi Campbell joined by senior executives from major industry on the continent from Visa to Hilton; Facebook to FIFA and Uber to LEGO.
The five finalists are Cecile Ambatinda Cameroon, Sharon Kantengwa Rwanda, Debra Musanyare Matabvu Zimbabwe, Esther Oluka Uganda and Marcia Zali South Africa.
Debra Musanyare Matabvu’s article ” Ethel defies Gokwe myth” resulted in her being a finalist.
The winning journalist will be awarded at the 6th African Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum’s (AWIEF) Virtual Conference and Awards hosted from 2nd – 3rd December with the theme “Reimagining  Business & Rebuilding better”.
