Official online tournaments among 51 countries globally are in full swing in the FIDE Checkmate Coronavirus project with Zimbabwe Chess Federation hosting their tournaments from the 7th to the 13th June this month.
FIDE Checkmate Coronavirus project has various online Chess tournaments including the Online mini-watch against a top Grandmaster, 2 hour Online Grand Master-class or Checkmate Coronavirus Souvenirs to be hosted by ZCF.
The tournaments are open to all Zimbabweans regardless of age, sex, level of play or affiliation of ZCF.
Participants will stand a chance to win guest invitation to the Moscow Chess Olympiad 2021.
