Cllr Magadzire criticised Moyo for naming the boreholes Well Life 1 and 2 and proposed that they be named Emmanuel and Ruth respectively.
Magadzire thanked the gift which came at an opportune time when the nation is fighting the global Covid -19 pandemic but however he had a spite on Moyo.
“Instead of naming the boreholes Well Life 1 and 2, I propose that they be called Emmanuel and Ruth respectively”, said Magadzire.
Moyo said the donation also helped to curb the spread of Covid-19 in terms of hygiene whilst also quenching the thirsty community.
“When as a Government we talk of hygiene during the Covid-19 induced lockdown, it makes sense when there is water”, said Moyo.
One borehole had been servicing the hilly terrain area that sometimes experience lack of tap water even if some wards in the constituency had.
The gift of two boreholes worth $750 000 was drilled by Dr Ruth Makandiwa-led Agape Family Care of Emmanuel Makandiwa’s United International Family Church.
Zengeza East MP Goodrich Chimbaira where the ward is in sought the donation on behalf of the community from Prophet Makandiwa.
