National Federation of Zimbabwe Body building and Fitness secretary- general Quiet Shangai recently said sponsors should come out in numbers and sponsor Body building contests.
“Body building athletes in Zimbabwe do it out of interest as there is no pay but competitions like the GS Classic help the athletes to be rewarded financially and gain exposure .The athletes are not paid and the contests should be many such that the athletes can showcase their fitness”, he said in an interview to SportWay.
He urged sponsors to fully support the sport in Zimbabwe and those body building and fitness stakeholders to keep on supporting the body building and fitness competitions.
World Fitness Federation (WFF), will host its event on the 20-21 June scheduled for Bangkok Thailand .
