Harare Province to host the 2019 Carling Black Label Pool Champs

All is set for the 2019 Carling Black Label National Pool Championships at Island of Joy in Harare on Saturday.
Delta Beverages sponsored tournament is comprised of 64 men and 32 women will lock horns to win the prestigious prizes in this year’s edition.
The Carling Black Label National Pool Tournament began with the regional tournaments that started on October 27 and the games were played across the country with a participation of more than 1 500 pool players.
Outstanding players from each province during the qualifying rounds have qualified and Bulawayo will have eight seasoned players who have been doing well in the past editions.
The national pool tournaments has been sponsored by Carling Black Label for over 10 years now, something Delta Beverages said is driven by the efforts to develop and reward the spirit of championship among their consumers.
The brand has further increased its footprint in pool by sponsoring the Zimbabwe Tertiary Institutions Sports Union pool games this year.
Delta Beverages Corporate Affairs Executive, Patricia Murambinda said their aim is to promote the sport and reward the spirit of championship among our consumers.
“This is driven by the efforts to develop and reward the spirit of championship among our consumers.
‘’There will be 64 men and 32 women battling it out to win the coveted prizes which we are giving away for this year’s finals.
“.Carling Black Label will aslo be rewarding the two winners, from divisions, with a pool table and $10 000,” she said.
