PSL’s face of EPL exhilarating

The lapsing of the big 3’s dominance in the Castle Premier Soccer League is a blessing in disguise as the competition to the title race has became stiffer like in the England Premier League.
PSL ‘s qualities can now be compared to the EPL where football clubs have a photo finish in the championships race.
In EPL, no club is usually regarded as an underdog as Arsenal , Manchester City or Manchester United can be upset by teams like Sheffield United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bournemouth.
Recently 2nd placed on FC Platinum were beaten 1-0 by Bulawayo Chiefs on position 6th from last, log leaders Caps United were thrashed 2-0 by 14th placed TelOne and 3rd placed Chicken Inn were walloped by 12th placed Harare City 2-0.
The PSL began a noticable transformation in 2014 when ZPC Kariba under coach Saul Chaminuka had the title race to the wire against Dynamos FC in contention with the latter winning the championship.
Zeal and zest is now depicted in a league where small teams had no effect to the title race as they were always on the receiving end.
Since the administration of Charles Sibanda at PSL, previous and present chairmen have always reiterated the need of the PSL to have the qualities of an overseas league.

The league is also a joy to the fans as many will not change teams because they are losing. Fans now understand the change in modern football as they know all teams are a force to reckon.

Dynamos fans no longer change their teams because Caps Utd is winning because one never knows what the next season brings about.
