Warriors stalwart defender Ian Nekati has been lauded for being a consistent player and depicts a great future ahead.
Ian Nekati made his debut appearance for Zimbabwe senior men football team in the local based squad for the Chan qualifiers before being drafted in the World Cup qualifiers squad and the Afcon qualifiers squad respectively.
Nekati who is currently playing at ZPC Kariba this season in the Castle Premier Soccer League is on loan from FC Platinum.
“Ian Nekati is a hardworking player. Even when he turned up for Mashanshan social club, he came very early and never changed his type of play because he was playing a social match”, said Martin Tototayi of Mashanshan social club which is based in Glen- Norah.
His ability to remain the same in behavior, attitude or qualities is a great asset to the senior men football national team. Fame has became a liability to the team as many players are succumbing to the pressure of fame.
