Marume Classic 2019 has taken center stage in body building and fitness championships with its 3rd edition set to roar into life on 10th August in Harare.
Zimbabwe College of Music will be the place to be on 10th August for bodybuilding and fitness enthusiasts when men and women battle it out for accolades in different categories.
National Federation of Zimbabwe Bodybuilders (NFZBB) in conjunction with International Federation of Bodybuilders (IFBB) gives the bodybuilding extravagant which is the brainchild child of four -time Mr Zimbabwe and six-time Mr Ironman Give more Marume.
Youngest South African and the only black IFBB Pro body builder Sibusiso Kotelo will be the guest poser.
Nine categories are lined up and these are, Senior Men’s body building(75kgs and below), Senior Men’s body building (above 75kgs),Junior Men (23 years and below), Men’s physique Open, Men’s fitness Open, Women bikini fitness, Men’s fitness model, Women’s fitness model and Men’s wheelchair Open.
In last year’s edition, Gideon Teguru shrugged stiff competition to win the Senior men category whilst Blessing Sithole was the men physique champion.
This year fitness categories have been added by the NFZBB in body building competitions since the beginning of the year.
Marume Classic is growing big by each coming year as more sponsors are being attracted to the event.
