Warriors drop on World Rankings


Zimbabwe senior men national football team has dropped 3 places on the Coca-Cola/FIFA World ranking following their shambolic appearance at the 2019 Afcon tournament according to the latest ranking.
The Warriors are now tied with Kazakhstan on 112th place on the world rankings ladder.Kazakhastan like Zimbabwe is also landlocked in Uerasia.
Nigeria have climbed to 33rd position in the latest rankings after clinching bronze at Afcon 2019.They have climbed 12 places from their 45th position accuaring 1481 points from previous points 1433.
Zimbabwe dropped from 109th position from previous points 1192 to 1174.
Belgium is at the top of the rankings with 1746 points which did not change.
Brazil are second with 1726 points from previous 1681 points having moved 1 place up the ladder.
France are on the 3rd place with the same points of 1718 but have dropped 1 place down.
England remain at the 4th place with unchanged points of 1653.
Senegal are the only African country in the top 20 with 1550 points previous points 1515 and have moved 2 places up the ladder.
Tunisia follow their African counterparts in the 29th place with 1496 points from previous points 1501 and dropped 4 places down.
Afcon 2019 champions Algeria are on the 40th place having climbed 28 places up the ladder with 1463 points from previous points 1346.
