Coach without a car on a losing streak

Dynamos FC  faithfuls have suggested that the mounting losses in their 2019 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League(PSL) opening campaign is exacerbated by coach Lloyd Chigowe‘s lack of vehicle to use during the business times.

The Dynamos coach who is affectionately known as Mablanyo also studied journalism before opting for coaching as a career has plummeted at the team that he saved relegation last season. He has conceded 3 losses in 4 PSL games resulting in him being a candidate to lose his job at the Harare giants.

However, Dynamos die- hard fans are blaming well wishers for forgetting to follow their culture of giving the head coach a car to ease the way of doing business at the football club. Mablanyo commutes to the training ground unlike other previous coaches who did not use public transport during their tenures at Dynamos.

It had been a norm at Dynamos that the coach received a car from good Samaritans to use during his office days and return it after the contract is cancelled, SportWay learnt.

Lloyd Mutasa also benefitted from well – wishers who gave him a car whilst he was the head coach at Dynamos.’ Lloyd Mutasa could not drive but we gave him a car to use which he returned after losing his job at Dynamos FC”, revealed a worker at a car sales that had given Lloyd Mutasa a car on condition of anonymity.

The scenario is not new to the football circles as Kallisto Pasuwa was also given a car when he was coaching the Warriors which he later returned after losing his job.

“How do you expect Mablanyo to do his best when he was not given a car like his precede”, said a staunch Dynamos supporter from Highfield.

Like in the statement “I can’t hear you because of what you are wearing “low morale can be the order of the day at Dynamos training grounds as the head coach enters without a car to highlight superiority.
