
Netball players playing in the Glow RANL has been retained in the netball senior women team ahead of the World Cup tournament to be played in Liverpool, England in July.

Squabbles between the Glow Rainbow Amateur Netball League sponsored by Pick and Glow Petroleum and the Zimbabwe Netball Association had hindered the selection of the ladies from the latter although they had played for the national team in the qualifications stages.
The Zimbabwe Netball Association capitulated after recognizing that the team will be disintegrated due to board room conflicts and their decision is for the better of the senior women national netball team
National netball team coach Lloyd Makunde has named a 24-member provisional squad, retaining most of the players who have been representing the country in the past assignments, as they begin their World Cup preparations.
Some of the new faces in the team include goal attack Beauty Sithole from Lupane State University and South Africa-based Panashe Chiranga.
