Chelsea ‘s new signing Gonzalo Higuain silenced his critics with a brace in Saturday ‘s win of 5-0 over Huddersfield which left them on 4th position of the EPL.
The Argentinian, who signed for Chelsea this year , scored two assists from N’Golo Kante that portrayed the forward as the right candidate contrary to earlier suggestions that Milan’s Piatek Krzyztof should have been signed instead of him.
Chelsea led in the 16th minute when Higuain a turn and shoot from N’Golo Kante’s assist .Hazard made it 2-0 after converting a penalty in the 45+1th minute. Higuan proved a threat to the Huddersfield defence as he frequently possessed the ball in the front.
David Luiz scored the fifth goal in 86th minute with a header after having felt to score a free header in the first half.
Higuain made his brace in the 69th minute after Hazard had scored his brace in the 66th minute.In a post match interview, Eden Hazard praised Higuian as a forceful striker that can cause terror to defenders.
