Zimbabwe under -16 dream team fell to Nigeria in their first match of the on going Copa Coca – Cola Africa Cup of Nations under -16 tournament in Nakuru, Kenya on Wednesday.
Nigeria dismissed Zimbabwe 3-0. Nigeria were smarting from a 2-1 loss from Zambia .The girls from Zimbabwe were also beaten in their first encounter by Kenya 2-0.
In Pool B, Zambia and Nigeria have 3 points and Zimbabwe needs to outwit Zambia by a wide margin to qualify for the quarters in their next match.Two teams qualify for the quarter stages of the tournament.
In Pool D, South Africa has already qualified after amassing four points in their two games played.South Africa who on their first thrashed Angola 10-0 in pool D, settled for an all nil draw with Tanzania on Tuesday.
