Sources close to the Dynamos FC revealed that  ousted head coach Lloyd Mutasa had rift with regular  players who are believed to have been sabotaging him. Mutasa who had been sacked earlier on in June this year managed 3 wins from 11 games since his return.

Jose Mourinho was sacked as Chelsea manager after a dreadful run of results which had left his side stranded in 16th place in the Premier league title. Mourinho was sacked after a rift with players. Unlike Lloyd Mutasa, Mourinho clearly stated that his work had been betrayed at Chelsea by the efforts of his players.

Guus Hiddink steered Chelsea from the relegation zone as an interim manger and “the blues” finished on the 10th position 201/16 season. Lloyd Chigowe who is Dynamos’ interim coach is tasked to help the Harare Giants the same way Guus Hiddink made waves at Chelsea.

Many have seconded Lloyd Chigowe as the ultimate saviour Dynamos needs at the moment. John Cassim, a Harare based freelance journalist with SABC said Dynamos needed someone who is well  acquainted with the current club’s players  for the team to fight relegation.

“Lloyd Chigowe is the best because he knows the players currently playing in the first eleven. As junior coach he follows the training of the senior team constantly and is in the capacity to fully turn around  the country’s biggest club from surviving  relegation”, said the journalist.

His sentiment were echoed by many  Dynamos fans who are troubled by the player  performances at club.
