
Four time Copa Coca- Cola national winner Churchill High School cruised past Mount Pleasant High School 2-0 on Friday at Churchill High School to reach Harare provincial finals as it was a hive of activity in zonal districts finals nation wide.
With the tournament in its 30th edition, Hippo Valley School and Mzilikazi School have achieved the same feat of winning the national finals for the fourth times with Churchill High School.
The matches played at Churchill School lived to their billing as the youngsters showcased professional football. Free kicks were taken the David Beckham way and penalties were a marvel to watch as the youngsters proved they were penalty specialists like Alan Shearer, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard to mention but a few.
Churchill under 15 in the group stages beat Vainona 2-1 and progressed to the semi -final where they outclassed Marlborough 2-1 and finally dismissed Mount Pleasant in a thrilling encounter. Former Premier Soccer league players graced the event.

Churchill team manager Percival Kanengoni praised his charges. “This year we have a good team than last year”, he said.
He also complemented the team’s seasonal coach Norman Mutongi for the win.The coach once won the Copa Coca – Cola cup in the national finals.
