“Chibuku Super Cup quarter finals draw fair”

Chibuku Super Cup quarter finalists hailed the draw on Tuesday in the Capital as fair  and understood that no team could complain after such a draw.

Chapungu will be facing How Mine at Ascot stadium whilst Black Rhinos will engage Harare City  at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday.On Sunday Bulawayo City tussle it out against Yadah at Barbour fields after the latter was awarded a win over their abandoned match against Chicken Inn.

Also on Sunday,  Shabanie Mine will square it off against Caps United at Maglas Stadium.

Chapungu FC representative at the draw,   Mr Stanford Ncube from the air force   commended the draw .”The draw is fine and fair such that we can not complain.There are no walkovers or pushovers so we are going to prepare hard for our match against How Mine on Saturday”, he said.2017 PSL title contenders have been booted out of the Cup and these are Dynamos, Ngezi Platinum, Chicken Inn and FC Platinum and also Highlanders a big team has already crumbled out of the Chibuku Super Cup. Winner of the Cup qualifies to represent Zimbabwe in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Caps United CEO Mr Cuthbert Chitima said,”We cannot underrate any team in the league so the match between us and Shabanie will provide fireworks.As current champions of the PSL  we need a silverware this season and this is what we have to fight for this year”.

Harare City spokesperson Hope Chizuzu was joyous over the draw.”We have played well in the league games and in this Cup.We are actually hoping to finish with a silverware this season”, he said at the draw.
