Juju squabbles engulfing the Dynamos coaching department might have been eased by the 2-1 win over Harare City at National Sports Stadium over the weekend as the head coach and the assistant coach were at each other’s throat.
An insider at Dynamos FC revealed to SportWay recently that there was tension between Dynamos head coach Lloyd Mutasa and assistant coach Biggie Zuze with the former allegedly speculating that the latter is sabotaging him so that he could be the head coach.
The insider said that Biggie Zuze oftenly gave players hugs when they left the dressing room for a match. This was abhorred by Lloyd Mutasa who thought that Zuze may be using juju which may affect him as he does not believe in juju.
The rift had caused the two coaches to be at loggerheads but no one had the evidence that the hugs were in form of juju or was the juju sabotaging Lloyd Mutasa’s plans.”Juju is a thing of the past which current coaches should shun to, people point fingers to each other when a dilemma arise and most people are opposed to guys who like to use juju at Dynamos”, added the insider at Dynamos.
Whilst international clubs like PSG, Manchester City and United to mention but a few thrive through buying best players and engaging good players some local football administrators still believe juju can provide a win. However most players and coaches are Christians thus causing conflicts as many no longer like to use juju but believe in Jesus’ power.
Dynamos winning can cement the relationships between the coaches because another’s activity may not be interfering with one another .Dynamos are currently leading the PSL Log with 57 points on 27 games whilst the second placed team has 53 points.
