Six years ago Delta Beverages entered into partnership with PSL that entered into partnership with the Zimbabwean football and have offered another Cup for the premier league.
As they have sponsored Chibuku Super Cup , this time around they have revealed that there will be a Challenge Cup when they unveiled their sponsorship package on Friday in the Capital.The winner of the PSL title will battle against the winner of the Super Chibuku Cup.Therefore , the total investment of the Delta Beverages will commit to in the next three years will commit to five million four hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($5.450 000).This is the biggest commitment the company has ever done.
Kennedy Ndebele, Chief Executive Officer of PSL professed gratitude to the Delta Beverages for their continued support .He also accepted Ministry of Sport and Zifa for allowing them to manage the premier league.
It was a pleasure for Delta Beverages to renew their partnership with the PSL for the next 3 years .Where both the league and Chibuku Super Cup are won by the same team , then the team that comes second will play the champions.The winners will pocket of the Challenge Cup will pocket $30, 000 while the runners- up will take home $20, 000.
