Jah Cure whose real name is Siccaturie Alock is a humble and soft spoken person. Upon entering the room where the press conference was to be held he greeted people and inquired, “How do you say greetings in your vernacular language”, showing his love to mingle with Zimbabweans.

He said he was happy to be in Zimbabwe and was surprised by the huge turnout even at a press conference .Jah Cure said the name Jah Cure means he has a role to play in uplifting people through music, his music is food to people’s souls and it also means that his life is for the people not for himself alone.

In an interview, Jah Cure said he would be happy to make collaboration with a local musician.”I have to make a connection with singers here whether spiritually or physically”, he revealed.

Jah Cure said unlike other artists who use pen and paper before a recording, he is worlds apart.”I sing from my heart and for years, I have been anticipating to come to Zimbabwe. I have never used pen and paper. I just go to the studio and have the words out. It’s all in my head”, bragged Jah Cure.

Jah Cure refuted claims that he used to sneak out of their house through a window to attend Bob Marley shows.”At that time I was a toddler when Bob Marley was alive but I sneaked to go to Dennis Brown show. He also rubbished claims that he made collaboration with Tupac Shakur.”When the collaboration was recorded with, Tupac was already dead. Powerful people in America made the recordings but the collaboration is good”, he revealed.
