The battle to see the Zimbabwe representatives of the club champions in Africa from the Castle Premier Soccer League(PSL) hots up with the final of Chibuku Super Cup scheduled for Baobab Stadium, Mhondoro on 5 November this year.
The Chibuku Super Cup Final match between FC Platinum and Ngezi Platinum Stars FC will be a must to see as the league debut ants Ngezi Mine wish to console themselves with a silverware to their coffers whilst high riding FC Platinum is being tipped for as double as they aim the championship title and the Super Chibuku Cup.
PSL wrote in a press release, “FC Platinum booked their place in the Chibuku Super Cup final after beating 2015 winners Harare City 3-0 at Mandava Stadium last Saturday while Ngezi Platinum Stars FC edged Highlanders FC 1-0”.
“FC Platinum were crowned the Chibuku Super Cup champions in 2014 while Harare City FC won the tournament in 2015.The final of the tournament was held at Mandava Stadium, Zvishavane in 2014 and at National Sports Stadium, Harare in 2015”, it read.
