Bulawayo derby in Chibuku quarter- finals

It will be entertaining in the Chibuku Super Cup as How Mine were drawn against Highlanders culminating in a Bulawayo derby that will leave tongues waging on who controls the city as soccer is concerned.

Chibuku Super Cup quarter finals were drawn on Tuesday in Gweru  and there were no seeded teams as what transpired in the first round draw.The teams were paired by drawing of lots.The first four teams drawn to play were given the opportunity to chose their preferred home stadium.

How Mine will clash against Highlanders in a mouth watering encounter at Barbourfields.Bosso beat Mutare City 2-1 at home whilst How Mine out classed  Dynamos  5-4 on penalties after a nil all draw.Triangle FC will take on FC Platinum home at Gibbo Stadium.Triangle will have a home advantage and their last encounter with FC Platinum was a draw in a league match there in Chiredzi.

Ngezi FC will also have a home advantage when they take on Tsholotsho at Baobab Stadium in Mhondoro. Ngezi smashed Hwange 4-1 at home in the first round whilst Tsholotsho won Caps United 4-5 on penalties in Harare.Defending champions Harare City will lock horns against ZPC  Kariba at Nyamhunga Stadium.
