Zimbabwe swimming sensational Kirsty Coventry is aiming a comeback in the women’s  200m backstroke at 2016  Olympics games  on Thursday after failing to reach the final in the 100 m backstroke.

The 2 time Olympic Champion, 7 times World Champion and 11 times World Champion posted on her twitter that she looks ahead to the 200m backstroke event which she believes will spearhead her Olympic campaign to get a gold medal for Zimbabwe.

“I ‘be swimming my favourite event tomorrow (Thursday) – 200m backstroke. Heat starts at 1300 hrs (Zimbabwean time)”, she posted on twitter. Heat 3 starts at 7:46 Brazilian time whilst Heat 4 is at 7:51.

Kirsty Coventry finished sixth in the women’s 100m backstroke semi- finals and only the top four semi- finals from the heat qualified for the final.
